Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out rules for the proper use of ESIMLYO's Services. It is designed to protect our users, our partners, and the underlying networks from misuse or abuse.

2. Scope

This AUP applies to all use of our eSIM plans, website, portals, and any associated services, whether accessed directly by you or via your account.

3. Prohibited Activities

You must not use the Services to engage in any of the following activities:

3.1 Illegal activities

  • Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations in any jurisdiction.
  • Distribution of illegal content or services.

3.2 Security violations

  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to networks, systems, or data.
  • Introducing malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
  • Interfering with or disrupting network operations or infrastructure.

3.3 Network and service abuse

  • Using automated systems or bots to generate excessive traffic.
  • Reselling, redistributing, or sharing the eSIM or associated connectivity to third parties, including operating a hotspot for commercial purposes beyond normal personal use.
  • Using the Service in a manner that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on network resources.

3.4 Spam and unsolicited communications

  • Sending unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or marketing communications via SMS, messaging apps, or other channels using the Service.

3.5 Infringing or harmful content

  • Transmitting content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Sharing content that infringes intellectual property rights or privacy rights of others.

3.6 Fraudulent or deceptive practices

  • Using the Service to impersonate another person or entity.
  • Engaging in payment fraud, identity theft, or similar misconduct.

4. Fair Use

We may apply fair-use measures to prevent behaviour that could negatively impact other users or the network, including but not limited to throttling or restricting data usage in extreme cases of abuse.

5. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe that you are breaching this AUP, we may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Contact you with a warning and request that the behaviour stop
  • Temporarily suspend your access to the Service
  • Terminate your plan or account
  • Block or restrict certain traffic or destinations
  • Report unlawful activity to relevant authorities

The actions we take will depend on the severity and frequency of the breach.
